Description: This meeting was rescheduled from the usual third Thursday because at least two members would have been unable to attend; one case of the flu would have eliminated a quorum. The Amity budget workshop had already been rescheduled for 1/16, so the chairman, Matt Giglietti, had to go back and forth between the two meetings. Then the regular monthly meeting for the Amity Finance Committee, including approval of the FY07 audit, was canceled (in anticipation of a blizzard) the preceding Monday, so they combined that meeting's business with the workshop. Effectively, Matt had to cover 3 meetings at once. On top of all this, the Inland Wetlands Agency has their regular monthly meeting booked for the main meeting room on third Wednesdays, so Finance was crammed into the small (Board) meeting room in the back of Town Hall.
